The IHO Publications Index has been organized in accordance with the classification criteria adopted by Member States in 2009 and presented in IHO Circular Letter 13/2009. This category system is as follows:

    B - Bathymetric publications (mainly concerning GEBCO)
    C - Capacity building publications
    M - Mixed publications (including basic documents)
    P ​​- Periodical publications
    S - Standards and specifications
