Objectives
Considering the need to improve dissemination and integration of navigational warnings (NW) within bridge systems and shore systems via a digital format, the WWNWS-SC decided at its 5th meeting to established a dedicated correspondence group to develop an S-100 product specification for NW. 
The product specification is expected to contribute to the technical infrastructure of e-navigation as designed by IMO and to the modernization of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems (GMDSS).
