IHO Infrastructure Centre Opening
Dedicated to supporting the digital transformation of navigation, the Centre will host the IHO Geospatial Information Registry and manage the IHO Security Scheme, the services that ensure S-100 data reaching ships is authentic, reliable and protected, and will support training and capacity development for Member States implementing S-100.
As part of the opening of the IHO Infrastructure Centre, the IHO brings together international leaders and experts to discuss the future of marine geospatial information, digital navigation, S-100 products, and more.
Key topics include the S-100 framework and strategy, the role of the Infrastructure Centre, product production and testing, and how to connect S-100 with the broader marine geospatial data ecosystem.
